Mt. Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route Climb

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.

Overnight: Moshi

After breakfast, drive to the Lemosho Gate and complete registration formalities. Begin the trek through the lush rainforest, spotting diverse flora and fauna along the way. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight camping.

Overnight: Tents

Leave the rainforest behind and enter the heather moorland zone. Trek steadily upwards, enjoying panoramic views of the Shira Plateau. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp for dinner and overnight camping.

Continue your ascent, crossing the Shira Ridge and exploring the Shira Plateau. Marvel at the stunning scenery as you make your way to Shira 2 Camp for dinner and overnight camping.

Today's trek takes you to the base of the Lava Tower (4,600m/15,091ft), where you'll experience high altitude and stunning views. Descend to Barranco Camp for dinner and overnight camping, allowing your body to acclimatize.

Embark on the challenging Barranco Wall, a steep climb that rewards you with incredible views. Trek across undulating terrain to Karanga Camp for dinner and overnight camping.

Ascend to Barafu Camp, the final base before the summit. The landscape becomes increasingly barren as you near the summit. Rest and prepare for the summit push.

Begin the summit attempt around midnight, trekking under the starry sky. Reach Stella Point at sunrise, then continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement before descending to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive a certificate of achievement. Transfer to your hotel for a hot shower and celebratory meal. Depart Tanzania with unforgettable memories of your Mt. Kilimanjaro adventure.
